Attorneys Robert A. "Bob" Schulman and Joseph E. "Joe" Hoffer  lead the Firm’s charter school practice and are joined by Leonard J. Schwartz, of Counsel. Bob Schulman has represented Texas charter schools since the very beginning of the movement in Texas and Joe Hoffer has represented Texas charter schools for his entire legal career. Joe and Bob actively represent dozens of Texas charter holders, charter schools and charter management companies representing Texas’ finest and most distinguished open-enrollment charter schools and campus charter schools.  Lindsey Jones joined the firm with many years experience representing charter schools and non-profit corporations in New York and Texas. Together, Mr. Schulman, Mr. Hoffer and Ms. Jones are an unbeatable combination of charter school legal experience and knowledge.

Our attorneys are on the cutting edge of Texas charter school law representing and advising charter schools involved in the leading cases (federal, state and administrative) effecting Texas open-enrollment charter schools. Bob Schulman and Joe Hoffer are frequent presenters and trainers for the Texas Charter School Association and the national charter movement and offer training and development for charter operators and board members.  We are certified trainers for charter directors and officers. We also work with many of the Education Service Centers in Texas to provide services and training specific to charter schools. Bob Schulman, Joe Hoffer and Lindsey Jones are members of the National Alliance of Public Charter School Attorneys.
